  • Frederick Fleet (1887-1965) était matelot sur le Titanic. Au poste de veille dans le nid-de-pie, c’est lui qui a aperçu en premier l'iceberg et prévenu la passerelle : “Iceberg, droit devant !”.
  • Frederick Fleet (1887-1965). Employed as a lookout aboard Titanic, it was Fleet who first sighted the iceberg, ringing the bridge to proclaim, "Iceberg, right ahead!".
